Well my concern is that once you start writing programs, to be
"detectors" you have crossed that line into psuedoscience.
It is bad enough, that the way in which the original detectors were
made, proved nothing, but to carry that forward, as a belief system,
and then by proclamation alone, decree that what these chicken
entrails are telling the wise, is that this is how the universe
works???
And then, after a _plethora of evidence proves almost every tenet of
their arguments in all cases false, they merely find some excuse and
carry on still making loud pronouncements of the end result, when the
very basis of their arguments, has long since been falsified.

Case in point, the Nebular Hypothesis.
They are not spiral nebula, they are galaxies.
Ok, so at that point, the very substance from which their theory was
based, has completely disappeared.
Would not any, sane, man or woman, abandon a theory, that now has no
stuff, with which to make planets???

Yet they continued to proclaim not only that but further that they
knew everything about the universe up until a small fraction after its
inception.
And so then even after a gas giant was found in an orbit, closer to a
star, than Mercury is to our sun, still they refused to let go, and
merely formulated some cock-and-bull story that somehow, this gas
giant, had spiraled in, closer to the sun and then stopped.
Forget how impossible this would be, no need to look further or show
in any way how that is possible, any simple explanation no matter how
ludicrous will suffice.
Poppycock!
Tabloid physics!
Chicken entrails, physics by proclamation and decree, and the worst
for of psuedoscience that which comes from authority.
Well I for one refuse to be lured into this spider web of deceit.
I move that high energy physics has become irrelevant!
And those who wish to waste their time attaching leptons and Dolly
Partons to their work to satisfy this lot may do so as they please,
but those who follow blindly their notions and seek for those hidden
truths in the real world of science will only find themselves lost in
a sea of confusion, finding things just, don't, add up.
