In this case, there is no explicit prohibition on the speed of expansion of space. It happened at the beginning of the big bang, to get the early universe expanded out to a large enough size to not fall back in immediately. It's probably still happening to this day in the universe, at the edges of the universe, they are probably expanding away faster than the speed of light away from us, and we can't see a thing past that distance. >>Anyways, your way wouldn't work. In order to stop attracting higgs bosons, you would have to take away their ability to generate gravitons. Gravitons would be the essential force carrier mechanism within matter particles to attract Higgs bosons. Personally, I like being matter, I think you like being matter too. I imagine it's the best state of energy to be in. I think it would suck being a photon. :-) >Actually, the cannon ball stretches the surface everywhere. And thats >the problem. That's because the direction of the gravitons is unfocused. All you would need to do is focus the gravitons in a certain direction. A graviton laser beam of a kind. You can stretch only the directions of space you think most necessary. You also optimize your usage of gravitons, given such a small amount of mass that you will be given. Yousuf Khan -- Yousuf J.
