imagine a glob, now follow the equator and tell me how many times you
cross you starting point before you reach a boundrary.
this is what they are talking about, the same way you can make a 2D
space
(surface of a globe) finite without any boundraries by curving it in
another
dimension. it is hard and possibly impossible to imagine how a 3D space
curved around in 4 dimensions would look, but the equations exist to
describe
such a situation.
all we have to do now is find out if space is positivly curved or
negitiavly curved.

not that has any real foundation to it. lots of neat theoritical
ideas try to create this kind of concept, but none have been
proven to any real degree.
