So far, we have dropped the size down >below 10^-18 metres, or thereabouts (whatever a hundred or so GeV is >equivalent to) > Ok. I wasnt saying that it is a problem right now, but I might become a problem if you want to solve several problems. (BTW. Isnt it possible to see a momentum as a form of velocity) (A sort of analogy to seeing sound as a form of movement) (Or maby this is just nonsense? :). >Again, you are incorrect here. Something can be a point, yet its position >can still be uncertain. > What can I say. I just read everything I can get my hands on and are especially fond of Stephen Hawking. Im not saying I understand this all yet, but I try to. (Come back in a year or four, when i have finished by study in physics.) My impression is that if something is very, very small (a point) you know exactly where it is. Or isnt that what you where meaning. What i do undertand is that you cant know place and speed at the same time, because one affects the other and by conducting measurements you in fact disrupt the exactness of that mewasurement. So..... Ivo
