The Universty Hospital Freiburg, which is located in pleasant
surroundings of the Black Forest and the Upper Rhine Valley offers
excellent laboratory facilities for the proposed work, and has wide-
ranging national and international links.
The following position is available in the Clinical Research Unit for
Rheumatology:
A full postdoctoral position to work on a transgenic mouse project
investigating the role of the transcription factor Egr-1 in the
differentiation and selection of B cells. Whilst the position is funded
by the DFG for one year in the first instance the funding is very
likely to be extended for two more years. The position would suit a
trained biologist (M.D. or Ph.D.) with a strong background in molecular
immunology and/or molecular biology. Starting salary for this post is
in the range EUR 40 - 50 00 per annum (BatIIa).
