POSTDOCTORAL POSITION to study VISUAL TRANSDUCTION.  This position is
funded by NIH grants and is available to start anytime over the next 12
months.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology,
or cell biology.  Studies will be on the role of arrestin and calpain in
the desensitization of phototransduction.  They will complement other
ongoing projects in the lab on phototransduction (Newton and Williams, J
Biol Chem 268:18181-18186, 1993; TIBS 18:275-277, 1993) and on the cell
biology of photoreceptor cells (Arikawa et al., J Cell Biol 116:659-667,
1992; Porter et al., J Cell Biol 116:683-693, 1992).  Applicants should
