Post-Doct Position in Quantum Chemistry and Molecular Modelling

At the Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry of the Universitat Rovira i
Virgili of Tarragona (Spain) a post doctoral position is immediately available
for a period of six months. The salary is 1500 euros/month.

The activities of the research group are concentrated on the investigation of
the structure, properties and reactivity of transition metal compounds.
Research topics cover a wide area including metcars (MxC12), metallofullerens
and organometallic derivatives of fullerens(C60-MLn), polioxoanions  properties
(basicity, magnetism and spectroscopy) and organometallic complexes and
homogeneous catalysis mechanisms, using DFT and hybrid QM/MM methods.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a related field.
