Postdoctoral position as posted on PostdocJobs.com website:

or

------------------------------

Postdoctoral positions are available in Stem Cell Program, and the
Dept. of Cell Biology and Human Anatomy, School of Medicine, to study
human embryonic stem cells. Using a range of molecular, imaging,
electrophysiological, gene transfer, protein- & tissue-engineering
techniques, we design and create "custom-tailored" human cells (e.g.
heart, neurons, and insulin-secreting cells) for transplantation and
cell-based therapies. Several IN VITRO and IN VIVO models (rats, mice,
guinea pigs, and swines) are employed. Overall, our research goal is to
better understand the fundamental mechanisms of various human diseases,
and to translate basic research findings into therapeutic applications.
Applicants should have a strong background in molecular biology and
cell culture. Although not required, those who are experienced in
cellular electrophysiology are particularly encouraged to apply. To
apply, please send resume plus three letters of recommendations.
