The Post Doctoral Fellow will develop on existing work in variance
based parameter lumping and image reconstruction in an effort to
improve the efficiency and performance of a variety of medical imaging
technologies particularly in the fields of Magnetic Resonance
Elastography and Elastography in general. This exciting position will
involve analysis of simulated, experimental and clinical data as well
as integration into an existing team of researchers focused on a
variety of computational and imaging technologies.

The successful applicant will have a completed PhD in Mathematics,
Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Specific fields include,
but are not limited to, Image Reconstruction, Inverse Problems,
Optimization Methods, Computational Solid Mechanics, Medical Imaging,
and Simulated Annealing. Some previous programming experience is
required (most code within the group is developed in Fortran). They
will be expected to perform quality research that results in algorithms
and methods that can be easily maintained and developed in the future.
Publication and presentation of work will be expected and encouraged.

Applications should include the University application form, a
