NIH-funded Postdoctoral position at Dartmouth Medical School is
available immediately.
The individual will use genetic, cellular, and molecular techniques to
analyze mechanisms by which the immunosuppressive cytokine TGF-b1
regulates Th1/Th2 development and inhibits macrophage and T cell
responses to stimulatory molecules such as LPS, IL-12, and IFN-g.
Candidates should have the MD and/or PhD degree and have a strong
background in immunology, and experience in flow cytometry, cellular
immunology, and molecular biology.
Our laboratory is located in Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The
research environment includes excellent core facilities, including
sequencing, DNA chip analysis, quantitative PCR, cell sorting,
confocal microscopy, transgenic/ES core facility, and a
state-of-the-art animal facility
