Postdoctoral Position in Neurodegenerative diseases 
UMass Medical School

A NIH funded postdoc position is available in UMass Medical School.
Projects in my laboratory include:

1) Generation of cell based systems for identification of
compounds/drugs that regulate splicing of disease causing genes
including SMN, tau and Bcl-x. These compounds may be potentially used
for therapy.

2) Functional studies of interaction between SMN and its interacting
protein (One paper submitted).

3) Functional studies of interaction between parkin and its
interacting protein (one paper to be submitted).
