Denver Health is one of the most integrated public health care systems
in the country. Our Level I Trauma Center is the busiest in the
region.

We are seeking a PhD in life sciences to work with nationally
recognized, NIH-funded trauma and critical care clinicians. The
principle strength of this group is in asking clinically relevant
questions at a basic science level. Current research focus is on the
response to injury, ranging from isolated cells to animal models to
patients from the Rocky Mountain Regional Trauma Center. We seek an
energetic individual with a strength in the areas of cell signaling,
cytoskeleton, neutrophil physiology and endothelial physiology. Our
spacious laboratory on the Denver Health campus and current group of
collaborators will give you the opportunity to immediately contribute
to a thriving research program. A successful candidate would be given
a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery commensurate with
their level of experience.
