                      Research Technician II
			Rheumatology Research

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the nation's first hospital dedicated
to pediatric care, is seeking a highly motivated & dedicated technician to
function in a highly independent level assisting our Rheumatology Research
program.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related life
sciences, coupled with at least 6months-1year practical and applied laboratory
experience outside the classroom laboratories through work-study, summer
employment and/or volunteer/internship in a molecular based laboratory. 
 Specific skills we seek include tissue culture preparation and
general protein work.  Strong computer background is also considered important
(Macintosh, cricketgraph) as well as the ability to work independently and
 handle multiple tasks.  We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive,
