A postdoctoral position is available in the cardiovascular physiology
and cardiac mechanics laboratories at the University. The work will
involve mechanotransduction mechanisms in myocytes using cell and
molecular biology techniques. The laboratories employ a
multidisciplinary approach that includes cell mechanics, biomechanical
engineering, physiology and imaging techniques. Applicants should have
a Ph.D. and/or MD and experience in cell and/or molecular biology. The
position is on an NIH training grant, thus the candidate must be
either a US citizen or permanent resident.
