A postdoctoral position is available. The position is in the area of
x-ray resonant magnetic scattering as applied to studies of
site-specific magnetism in crystals and films. The candidate is
expected to develop the theoretical framework and computational
software required for quantitative analysis of resonant magnetic
scattering data. Strong scientific programming skills are required for
this position, which could suit candidates with experimental or
theoretical backgrounds alike. Knowledge of crystallography and x-ray
resonant scattering is preferred, but not required. A recent PhD in
Physics, Applied Physics, or Materials Science.

Interested candidates should send a CV, a statement of research
interest, along with a publications list and the names and addresses
of three references.
