We seek a talented scientist with a strong background in molecular and
cellular biology who will spearhead the application of siRNA
approaches into our target and biomarker assessment processes.
Responsibilities include developing and applying viral vector-based
methods for efficient siRNA-mediated gene knock-down of novel genes in
cell-based and/or animal models of Type 2 diabetes. Additional
responsibilities may include adapting established cell models of
insulin resistance and/or pancreatic beta cell function to
high-throughput platforms.

We are eager to hear from highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D
and/or M.D. and a strong background in in vitro cell models, wet-lab
genomics, molecular biology and/or metabolic diseases. Demonstrated
initiative, strong communication skills, and the proven ability to
work in an interdisciplinary team environment are required.

This position is limited to applicants in the U.S.
