Postdoctoral Positions in Theoretical Chemistry with V. Rassolov,
University of South Carolina

We are seeking two postdoctoral researchers for research projects in
quantum chemistry. One project involves development and application of
a semiclassical method based on quantum trajectories. Familiarity with
time dependent quantum mechanics and some programming experience are
required. Second project is about the development and application of a
geminal theory based on strongly orthogonal geminals. This project
requires profound knowledge of modern electronic structure methods and
some programming experience (C++ and/or FORTRAN).

Both projects require individuals capable of independent research. We
believe in creative nature of theoretical work. Therefore, some
flexibility in the choice of research topic will be offered to
successful candidates. Salary and benefits are negotiable. Both
positions are available for a year with a possibility of extension for
another year.
