You're right. He can't speak for you. But others are trying to speak
for *him*. They want his help in "going off our planet".

Wait a minute. I don't think Stuart is trying to stop you from going to
space. If he is then fine, shout him down.

You see, he can achieve his goals without you. (He's already here and
he doesn't want to go anywhere) So he doesn't need anyone in a
position of power to do anything.

The ones yelling at him need the position of power because
they don't think they can get to space without his money and they
need power to get it.
