"We"?  What do you mean, "we"?  Speak for yourself, please.  I tend to
consider the resources issue a bit of a red herring; the question is
whether the option of going off our planet will exist, for those who
wish to take it, or whether it will be unavailable because somebody in
a position of power is "thinking about living within our planet" and
insisting that everyone else think the same way.

Incidentally, why do you think this planet is "ours" but this solar
system isn't?
