PANEL OF SPEAKERS ON SPACE DEVELOPMENT
at the Space Horizons Conference
Three major figures in space development will speak at the Hyatt Hotel, under
the sponsorshop of the Boston Chapter of the National Space Society.
Dr. Rick Fleeter, President of AeroAstro (a.k.a. the "guru of small
satellites") will talk about what AeroAstro is doing in the way of low cost
access to space. They build extremely inexpensive satellites and are also
working on a family of low cost small payload launch vehicles.
Jim Stewart, VP of Space Infrastructure at Teledisec, is also a founder of
Orbital Sciences Corporation. Teledesic is putting up a constellation of
communications satellites.
Lori Garver is President of the National Space Society, the national
grass-roots space advocacy and education organization based in the nation's
capital. She will talk on "Space Development - The View From Washington".
at Hyatt Hotel, Cambridge, MA.

These meetings are sponsored by the Boston Chapter of the National
Space Society (NSS); together with the MIT chapter of the Students for
the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS). NSS sponsors
lectures on space related topics, usually on the first Thursday of
every month.
The Space Horizons conference is not organized or sponsored by
the National Space Society or its Boston Chapter, to my knowledge.
