I don't know what he does for a living, but the motivation for these
'newsletters' is religious; the conclusion of each of these (as transcribed
over in talk.politics.misc by another True Believer) is religious; each
newsletter closes with a plea for the listener to turn to God and Jesus
to avert the horrible events that are about to befall the U.S. Once I
discovered that, it all made a weird sort of sense.
