Does anyone have any suggestions for a text (or book chapters or articles or...) on the basics of experimental design for *nonscientists*? I am putting together a reference list for the Experimental Design and Statistics subcommitte of the American Zoo and Aquariam Association. Zoo people involved in research come from a wide variety of backgrounds that range from well-trained academics to well-intentioned and highly motivated keepers with little or no scientific grounding. It has been easy enough to find reference works suitable for the more schooled portion of membership (although if anyone has any particular favorites, those suggestions are welcome, also), but a good text for intelligent but naive nonscientists has been hard to find. If you have any suggestions please reply to me directly at the email address given below. Many thanks. Cheers, Bill __________________________________________ William R.
