Full-time position available at AT&T's Business Analysis Organization
for a Ph.D. statistician experienced in applied statistics and data
analysis. Familiarity with data mining tools and techniques is
preferred. Incumbent will join a team of computer scientists and
statisticians to support ongoing data mining projects for AT&T's
Business Markets Division's internal clients. Must be skilled in all
aspects of data analysis using stat. packages like S-Plus and SAS. Must
have experience in model-building based on large and noisy market data.
Willingness to learn and work with data mining tools and techniques is
required. Must be comfortable both in Unix and PC environments. Strong
interpersonal skills are also essential as the incumbent will interface
with clients, data suppliers, and software developers in support of
Business Analysis needs. The job location is Murray Hill, NJ (Bell
