Does anyone know of a source for CY-7 or dyes in a similar range
(Excitation ca. 740, Emission ca. 780), water soluble? 

Amersham listed it in a recent brochure, but are being cryptic about
availability, implying that they have licensed it to some other company.
We are trying to get hold of some for cell filling of retinal neurons,
in order to avoid damage by visible light.
