POSTING DESCRIPTION

The crystallography team of the BBR program has an immediate opening
for a post-doctoral position in the field of protein crystallography,
with emphasis on macromolecular crystallogenesis. The individual is
expected to participate in, and to conduct, molecular structure 
determinations by X-ray crystallography. Excellent knowledge and
previous experience in the field including protein chemistry, with
emphasis on crystallization of biological macromolecules are required.
The candidate will work closely together with protein chemists and 
staff crystallographers in diverse internal and external collaborations
(repair proteins, DNA complexes, lipoproteins, growth factors, signal 
transduction). The capability to work on several concurrent projects is
vital. Dependent on qualifications, the applicant will be given an 
opportunity to resume or develop individual projects in addition to
programmatic collaborations.
