X-ray Crystallography at NIH
Two post-doc positions to study molecular assemblies and mechanisms of
DNA recombination and repair in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems
are open. We are particularly interested in V(D)J gene rearrangement in
immune system and will be focused on RAG-1 and RAG-2 molecules. We are
equipped with two R-axis completed with mirrors, cryo- and IPII systems,
a Siemens detector, many work stations as well as all the advanced
molecular biology technologies. Motivated candidates from biochemistry,
molecular biology or structural biology background with less than five
years of post-doc experience are encouraged to apply. Please send a cover
letter, curriculum vitae, bibliography, statement of research interests
and three letters of recommendation to

My recent work on a site-specific recombinase gamma-delta resolvase
is published in Cell, Vol. 82, p. 193-207.
In-vitro analysis of RAG-1 and RAG-2 proteins by Dr. Marty Gellert's
group (my colaborator) results in many publications in Cell and Science since
1995.
