System : SCO UNIX 3.0 (open server)
CD-ROM : Sony CDU561
Adapter : Adpatec 2742


We are having trouble installing the uod374a cdrom driver on our SCO system.
We acquired this driver from the SCO bbs and have followed the instructions 
that accompanied it exactly.

When we run the CUSTOM utility to install the driver, we get the following 
error messages when prompted for the distribution media ;

     Installing Custom data files ... tar: cannot chdir to ./tmp

    ...

     Error : missing custom data files

The ./tmp and ./usr/tmp directories do exist and have been given mode 0666 to 
ensure that permissions are not creating the problem.

If anyone has the solution to the above problem, can yo please send me mail as 
soon as possible.
