I am trying to configure a SCO Openserver 5.0 machine to receive e-mail
from Demon Internets SMTP mail servers (punt1, punt2,punt3 & punt4).

PPP is setup and working in that I can use functions such as ping, telnet,
finger, mosaic etc.

DNS is setup and appears to be working. A link to demon is established
when unkown hosts are 'ping'ed, and the demon nameservers return the
IP address.

MMDF is set to use the DNS for all hosts. post.demon.co.uk is set as the
target for the smtp badhosts channel.

Mail is transmitted okay to post.demon.co.uk, and is delivered, but Mail
is not picked up. When I use finger to check my mail status I can see mail
waiting to be collected.

I setup a dynamic incoming ppp link for 'nppp', and configured it for IP
negotiation. When I check syslog, the nppp account is not activated
when I deliver mail or use finger to check the mail status.

Any ideas?

Thanks in Advance :-)
