I always tend to end up on the Meadows to get to Tollcross. Good
sight-lines, relatively few junctions.

I was thinking more of the nature of the road itself than how busy it
was; narrow lanes, blind bends, a large number of junctions (and
frequently covered in scaffolding at the east end) combine to make it a
lesser choice by car.
