Folks, Snazzy Production has unleashed their march/april 1998 lineup...
(all shows on Saturdays at the Kuumbwa in Santa Cruz)
March 21, 8pm - Martin Simpson's Band of Angels
March 28, 8pm - Asylum Street Spankers
"First west coast appearance! A cross between a '20s string band, a
Kansas City jazz band, and the Wild Bunch. A 10 piece totally acoustic (no
PA or amps) group with a big sense of humor. Don't miss this show"
April 4, 8pm - Dan Hicks and his Acoustic Warriors
April 18, 8pm - Emily Kaitz & Doo Doo Wah
Emily: "Writer for the Austin Lounge Lizards and Trout Fishing in
America, etc" Doo Doo Wah: "Writers/performers and Strawberry Music
Festival Standbys"
April 25, 7:30 & 9pm - the Reverend Billy C. Wirtz ... Bob Malone opens
as always, tickets from 21st Century CDs or phone 408-429-7663
Coming Distractions:
The Foremen;
Rambling Jack Elliot;
Dan Bern ("Punk Folk");
Those Darn Accordions;
Robert Earl Keen (I hear-say this is going to be a Catalyst show
Btw, I'm keeping an unofficial Snazzy Productions webpage at
http://hogranch.com/snazzy/ (Currently, its a repro of their flyer, I just
couldn't catch that snazzy feel with html text).
