Parking Garage Paranoia Trespass Law

The current Parking Garage Paranoia law bans entering a parking
garage
for
any reason other than to go to a bicycle or car and then only for 15
minutes. Upcoming on May 24th at City Hall 8:30 AM the Downtown
Commission
will hear Public Works and the SCPD ask for more contraction of
public
space
and expansion of police power. They want EVERY PARKING LOT to be
included
in this law.

For this interested in showing our willingness to disregard the
current
and
proposed unconstitutional City Council edicts against our use of the
commons, this event is a fun example of civil supremacy. It's not
even
"civil disobedience", since the participants are ignoring the law to
proceed
with legitimate public activity and not specifically engaging in
protest,
but simply using the public spaces as they were meant to be used and
have
been traditionally used.

Check out this evening Friday May 18th at 5:30 PM.

[snip remaining whiny bullshit]

This would be a good move. BTW, the law is not entitled as you
hysterically indicate.

There clearly is a problem with bums and other deadbeats loitering in
the garages. It is a reasonable response to try to get them out of
there.

You still have never explained, danny, why you want to do everything
in your power to keep the homeless downtrodden.
