Weekly disclaimer about anonymous messages in scruz.general
------------------------------------------------------------
I did not send the anonymous messages, and I did not write the content
of the messages. The messages are untrue and defamatory.
Some of the messages have been made to appear as though I wrote them.
It's absurd. I might post messages that some people disagree with or
dislike, but I do at least take responsibility for them.
Some of the messages have been made to appear as though other local
individuals have authored them, apparently in an attempt to anger
those individuals into posting equally caustic messages. However, it
appears that all of the anonymous messages are coming from one person.
The person posting the anonymous messages is intent upon disrupting
scruz.general by instigating flame wars based upon the defamatory
content of the messages. He does not care if his defamatory remarks
harm the families or individuals named in the messages.
In addition, he knows that were he to post using a traceable e-mail
address, he could be sued for defamation in a civil suit or prosecuted
under existing anti-cyberstalking laws.
In short, the person posting the messages is the worst sort of liar
and coward on the Internet.
