Thanks Blaine! I'm goin' to Mex this weekend (along with half the civilized world, apparently), and will stock up on tortillas, salsa, etc. and rush home to fish taco out! And, hey, doesn't Rubio's advertise that they use shark? There's a place in Mission Beach (Newport Annie's, I think) that made an incredible fish taco using shark. I went back two months later, and they served my a fish taco consisting of (hold your hats, and your lunch, true fish taco lovers): Chewy poorly cooked unidentifiable fish Flour tortilla Lettuce Cheese Bad weak salsa (may be redundantly versed) Guac etc. I ran screaming from the place, and have *never* gone back (never will, either, so there) Michael Breen singing and philosophizing (and scarfing fishy tacos at every bend)
