Calling Fairouz "Greek" is a bit of a stretch, Middle-eastern seems more appropriate. It is very good though. For cheap Greek eats, I like The Little Chef in OB and Frank's Greek Cafe on 30th between El Cajon and University (It's the place with the patio and umbrellaed tables). Frank's has a $1.95 breakfast special that has to be the best deal in town, Gyros and Eggs for $3.15. For slightly more upscale Greek, try Georgia's in Normal Heights. It's on Cherokee between Adams and El Cajon. I'm not particularly a fan of Calliope's in Hillcrest, though it does have its followers. My very favorite Greek restaurant is Xenio's in San Francisco, but I must admit it's been a few years since I've been there. Mike Christensen
