Every Thanksgiving, my church hosts an outreach for the homeless in San
Diego County. We provide a meal, clothing, personal hygiene items,
medical care, transportation and other services.
Another component of the outreach is resumes and job interviewing
skills. After all, it doesn't make much sense feed them and send them
on their way. We try to match them up with a job.
If you have any information at all for any company that is hiring right
now, please get the information to me so that we can have in on
Thanksgiving. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Excellent idea. I do not know of specific employers that would be willing to hire right homeless people. The thought occurs to me that maybe school career counselors could be contacted and they may have ideas or could volunteer to do some workshops, etc. Good luck and God bless you!
