This is the one you see advertised frequently. It's absolutely the best
scope money can buy for the beginner, and is a super portable scope for
the advanced amateur astronomer.

The ETX-90EC is by itself a wonderful computerized table-top telescope
at $600 from various sources. This system, however, includes everything
necessary to make it suitable for even serious astronomers. The
following accessories are included:

Heavy duty field tripod with accessory tray
Carrying case
Basic hand-paddle controller
Autostar (self-teaching, automatic go-to) with V2.0 software
Two 1.25" eyepieces (medium and low magnification)
Barlow (for higher magnification)
Dewshield
Rigel QuickFinder
Solar filter (Thousand Oaks - the best)
Electric focuser, Meade #1144
External 12V rechargable battery pack, with charger/cable
Miscellaneous smaller items

Everything is in perfect condition, with original boxes, manuals, etc.

Total (discounted) retail for everything is over $1,500. I'll take $900,
firm.

Reason for selling: I've just ordered a larger and much more expensive
scope - this hobby is addictive! I'm in San Diego. Please respond via
