I believe the original poster simply advocated biking to work.	I don't
see why, if you live close enough, you can't bike to work whether you're
a father or no.  I suppose if you take the kids to school you couldn't do
it, but if you trade that duty with your wife you could certainly bike on
your off days.

I can't imagine a scenario under which a physically healthy person could
not make at least some short trips on foot or by bike.	What a bunch of
lazy selfish jerks we've all become.

I presume you would take the car.  And I presume you would have the
decency to choose a fuel efficient one rather than a range rover.  My mom
did just fine with a Vega station wagon when I was growing up.	No one
*needs* a yuppy- van.
