I climb Mt. Woodson frequently. Park on the South side of 67 just across from the entrance to the forest fire station. This is about 100 yards "east, ie toward Ramona" from Mt. Woodson Road. There is construction going on now so you may have to park on the side road. The trail starts by the side of highway 67 where the road to the fire station begins. In 100 yards it meets a blacktop road to the top. The blacktop road is the trail. It is about 1200' evelation gain and about 1.8 miles each way. ed
