You are confusing two distinct concepts of pricing. First is the lowest price that *each* producer is willing to accept and the highest price that *each* consumer is willing to pay. Second is the price at which there is a balance between the highest of those lowest individually-acceptable producer prices and the lowest of those highest individually-acceptable consumer prices. In essentially any market, there is a mix of producers and consumers willing to sell or buy at different prices. Once a balance is struck in the marketplace and a single market price is reached, some producers are selling at a higher price than they were willing to sell, and some consumers are buying at a lower price than they were willing to buy.
