I have heard that it has taken two years to process the request of the
power increase request made by KSDS, San Diego City College�s
non-commercial radio station. I would be surprised if this approval process
didn�t require the approval of the Mexican government. KSDS has notified
its listeners that the deadline for the approval is coming soon. Action is
needed immediately.

KSDS has been an invaluable asset to the culture of San Diego. I�ve lived
in San Diego for most of my life, and I�ve never knew of any other
broadcasting concern in San Diego, commercial or public, which has
performed the service of supporting jazz music the way KSDS has. KSDS
serves our city well. Your support is needed to improve upon that service.

I request that you urge the FCC to approve the power increase for KSDS in
the name of our nation�s culture, our city and education.
