I ordered the software about a month ago via their 800 number
(800/967-5363). I haven't gotten the package yet even though those
I know who ordered after me have already gotten it.

Anyone got their copy yet? I've called the order number and they
say they can't check on the status of an order or even if you exist
as a customer. They did say that you must use their software
although they said that it might be ok to use your own after the
initial signon.

So, does anyone have a copy of the software? Do you need it to use
WorldNet? Have the local access numbers? What do you think of the
service?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Ordered the software about the same time you did. Ordered it again
about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Got it about a week and a half ago. I have
no idea which order it came from, as I've only got one package so
far. I'd suggest trying to call again and/or ordering it
through their www site (www.worldnet.att.net or www.att.com).

Works fine in windows. You can use your own internet software to
connect
if it supports CHAP authentication. Works fine from the OS/2 PPP
software. The service is fast, no busy signals, and I've already
dumped
my other two ISP's that I used before, so I could have reliable
service.

As always, your mileage may vary.

I just found the www site a few minutes before reading your post. I
did place another order via the web. Also found another outstanding
site which goes into great detail on how to setup W95's explorer
(DUN), Netscape, etc. once you have used Worldnet's software to
setup your account: www.mindspring.com/~ekelley/win95/win95.htm

Are you able to tell me if you need Worldnet's software for the
account/password coding (like AOL's) or is it one-time for account
creation. I'm trying to figure out if I can grab someone else's
disc or CD-ROM and use it for the account creation and then move on
to Explorer or Netscape. I don't want to wait another month...

Got it bout two weeks after I sucribed. It is a good plan. Has unlimited
time for $20 bucks but if you mess around with it. It will never work the
same again. I tried to install netscape and now I can't even log on the
same way. Any time I try to download something. It starts telling me I
don't have a DNS server. Even the technical support line has no idea
what is going on. It is a good deal but don't play around with it or it
will never work right again. If you got any ideas on how you think it
might work right E-mail me at Moe@worldnet.att.net
