Blithe House Quarterly: a site for gay short fiction invites you to browse its premiere issues on the World Wide Web "Fans of short fiction now have a new journal to peruse, this one housing work penned by gay writers. Blithe House's second installment (we wished we'd beentipped off to the first!) features eight pieces, each one captivating in its own unique manner. The author bios read like a Who's Who of independent publishing -- and accordingly, you won't find a cookie-cutter plot line anywhere on the site. We eagerly await the next go 'round of these clever, poignant works." --The Web Magazine Summer 1997 issue features short stories by C. Bard Cole Jameson Currier Daniel Curzon Richard Redlo Gregg Shapiro Virginia Shirley Joan Vermette David Watmough Fall 1997 issue features short stories by Drew Ferguson Sheryl Fowler Susan Koppelman Ellen Orleans Felice Picano Jacques Servin Christopher Shinn Virginia Shirley edited by Aldo Alvarez URL: http://www.spectra.net/~aalvarez/BHQ.html Submission guidelines are available on site
