Well Muna Hawaii is a state and Interstate implies interstate travel 
ie.(internal state travel).But the big part of it is that our gouvernment 
will spend money on anything in the name of "progress". To them spending 
money is something of an artless art :o) Bow to the Buddah. But I see 
you're point whats the use of an Interstate with no adjoining states to 
travel to? I dont know? But I do know that I and many other hard working 
"Americans" paid a lot of money in taxes to build that highway.Which is 
rather ironic seeing as I will probably never have enough money to travel 
to Hawaii to drive on it. But hey thats life.
