With the reality of a poor ecomony, I would like to revive the art of barter. I need help with my taxes (details below). I am also interested in guitar lessons (beginner), piano lessons (just above beginner), voice lessons (advanced) (or a playing partner without the barter). Read on for my side of the exchange. I am looking for someone to help me out with my 1990 (yes, you read that right) income tax returns. You must be knowledgable at a professional level and not just good at doing your family's and friend's. 1990 was a very comlicated tax year for me and I don't know where to begin. I have moving expenses, lots of medical deductions, and three returns to do. If I can get the federal done, that will be most of it. I need some help with California (part-time resident) which I have never done before. The Mass. I should be able to do on my own. Yes, I'm real good at following directions on deduction sheets but I have too many questions to figure it all out myself without taking a course in tax accounting. I am due refunds from all three places so I have no penalties. I expect my 1991 taxes to be straightforward so I should need no help with them. In exchange, I will provide you (or the person of your choosing) with one or more of the following services: Tutoring (all ages: math (through geometry), English, writing, linguistics) Professional editing services (from organization, content, and style to grammar and punctuation (everything but spelling)) Writing instruction (any level: book reports, term papers, creative writing, etc) SAT, PSAT, or GRE prep English as a second language Teaching assistance for children with disabilities Interpretting Spanish/English (oral only) I have taught students of all ages from infant to adult. Currently, I am a UCSD graduate student and teaching assistant for undergraduate courses. My professional work includes: teaching (undergraduate writing, special education, day care), tutoring (math and English), interpretting, and editing. Send me email if you are interested in discussing an exchange. I am open to other possibilities beyond what I have listed. You may also call me at 298-5699. __________________________________________________________________________ "There's nothing wrong with me.
