Hi To all Abit BH6 users out there, need your advice before I settle on this board: I have downloaded the manual and saw the SEL 100/66 signal which can be turned ON/OFF to change the multiplier factor even if the CPU is multiplier locked. My question is, does this applies only to those 100Mhz based CPU? If not, that would theoretically mean that I can run a celeron 300A with 100MHz * 3. Please share your experience. Regards.

Hey Gary For more information regarding hardware questions like this, you can go to http://bxboards.com/ or http://members.xoom.com/celeron400/ these 2 are very good websites... Not quite. The Celeron's are "clock-locked" and will only function with a 4.5 multiplier. Changing the multiplier to anything else will result in the clock frequency being 1/2 actual. (The Celeron will run at 4.5 x 100MhZ and sometimes even 4.5 x 112). I've got the BH-6 with a Celeron 300A running at 465MhZ flawlessly. I would highly recommend both the chip and the board. For much more info on this topic see: www.tomshardware.com and enter the Delphi discussion board. There are many people reporting success with this combo. Good luck.
