>From the makers of Galactic Civilizations comes Entrepreneur. A
game of conquest, a game of strategy, a game of high powered
competition.

A game of...economic domination.

Entrepreneur is the first game to bring warfware to the new age --
company vs company. Dubbed internally as "The Microsoft Simulator"
Entrepreneur puts you into command of your own company in the
quest to take over the world.

The game will come with different markets to choose from, such as
computers, soft drinks, etc. Add on modules from Stardock or third
parties will allow you to play in different markets such as automobiles,
airlines, the defense industry, long distance service, you name it.

I have to admit that I'm pretty excited about Entrepreneur, it's been
something I've worked on for a couple of years now in design. With
the revenue from our other game projects, we've been heavily investing
in making Entrepreneur a truly next generation game.

Some of the neat things it'll do:

Totally real-time. A real-time game on a platform like OS/2 lets you
see what real-time REALLY can be like.

Multiplayer. If you're on a network, Entrepreneur will let you match
wits with your friends. Entrepreneur WILL be multiplayer from the
first release (i.e. there won't be a "Net-Entrepreneur", multiplayer
abilities will be built in).

The SDS/AI returns! Thought GalCiv was challenging? Now match
your wits against the likes of Gil Bates and the Microhardware Empire.

Check out Stardock's WWW page for more information:

The way it works is you pre-purchase the final version and the beta
version is sent to you. Beta 1 went out to a small group of users in
January. Since then, it has undergone major changes that reflect
Stardock's improved resources to throw at its software projects.

I encourage anyone interested in OS/2 gaming to check out our
Entrepreneur page on our website. If it's your type of game, joining
the beta is the most inexpensive way to get your hands on what may
certainly be one of the hottest games (not just OS/2) to arrive this year!
