              Freelance Graphics 96 for OS/2 Warp Features

 This document provides a list of the key new features provided in
 Freelance Graphics 96 for OS/2 Warp - a breakthrough presentation
 graphics product for business or home use.  This new version of the
 award-winning Freelance Graphics delivers key innovations in three
 main areas:  Productivity, Team Computing, and Integration and
 Programmability

 Productivity-Enhancing Features
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Freelance Graphics 96 for OS/2 Warp gives users simplified access
 to all the tools needed to create professional-looking, successful
 presentations - including content suggestions to help users organize
 their thinking, a complete set of charting, diagramming and outlining
 tools that let users see their work shaping up visually as they enter
 text and data.

 * Content SmartMasters - In addition to providing users with a wide
 array of professional "looks" for their presentations, Freelance
 Graphics 96 now gives users a head start on content and graphics
 creation, making truly effective business presentations more possible
 than ever before.

 * Smart Diagramming - Freelance Graphics 96 includes an array of ready-
 made business diagrams, and a complete set of text shapes and connectors,
 to dramatically simplify business diagramming and encourage users to
 clarify key points with visuals. 	

 * The Lotus InfoBox - With the Lotus InfoBox, all editing is "dynamic,"
 so changes are displayed on the page as the user makes them, and
 "modeless," so users can avoid opening and closing the same dialog
 repeatedly when implementing format changes. The Lotus InfoBox is
 implemented across the entire Lotus product line.

 * Task Sensitive Interface - The Task Sensitive Interface in Freelance
 Graphics give users the presentation creation tools they need, when
 they need them, and spares users from hunting through menus to find
 commands.

 * Guide Me - Guide Me is an all new on-line assistance feature that
 helps users get their work done more quickly. An intelligent, friendly
 assistant, designed to track user selections and actions.

 * View Tabs - New View Tabs on the Freelance Graphics desktop make
 switching among different presentation views  Current Page, Page Sorter
 and Outliner easier and more efficient than ever. In addition, each view
 provides the right set of tools to help users complete their work
 efficiently.

 * Visual Outliner View - The Freelance Graphics Outliner is now a much
 more visual place in which to work. With its new WYSIWYG editing and
 live bitmap display of each page alongside corresponding text, the new
 Visual Outliner combines the benefits of a traditional outliner and a
 Page Sorter view.

 * Meeting Support Tools - Freelance Graphics 96 offers a number of new
 tools designed to improve the look of printed presentations and meeting
 materials. These include meeting-specific Content SmartMasters; zooming
 capabilities and text controls for speaker notes; new print formats and
 border styles for meeting handouts; and printing enhancements such as a
 print preview feature.

 * Lotus Chart - Lotus Chart is an all new shared tool for high-quality
 data charting in Freelance Graphics and other Lotus SmartSuite
 applications. Lotus Chart gives users a choice of ways to display data
 in charts, including new options such as 3D exploded pie charts, 100
 percent bar charts, pictograms and labels inside stacked bars.

 * Multimedia Enhancements - For users who want to develop their own
 screenshows, Freelance Graphics now offers the ability to quickly and
 easily set effects, including sequencing, at the object and page level.
 A new runtime Mobile Screen Show Player lets users show presentations
 on any PC. Other key enhancements include a fully-integrated animation
 player; ready-made 3D animated clips; and full compatibility with Gold
 Disk Animations Works and Gold Disk Add Impact for creating animation.

 * Rehearse Mode - Combining the benefits of speaker note text and
 screenshow, Rehearse Mode helps users prepare effectively for their best
 possible presentation delivery. Key features include:  rehearse mode bar
 with timing display and buttons for pausing and resuming, restarting and
 calling up speaker notes; summary of rehearse time spent on each slide
 and total rehearse time; and the option to create or edit speaker notes
 while rehearsing.

 Team Computing
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Freelance Graphics 96 encourages and facilitates the teamwork that helps
 business users create and deliver successful presentations. Simple,
 easy-to-learn and easy-to-use tools and automated processes, based on
 Lotus' innovative team computing technology, let users solicit and
 incorporate feedback and collaborate on presentations electronically
 with co-workers.

 * TeamReview - TeamReview is an automated, on-line process that
 streamlines the cumbersome manual task of reviewing and editing
 presentations, and encourages collaboration among team members.

 * TeamShow - TeamShow is a valuable, cost-effective presentation
 delivery and collaboration tool that lets users lead a remote audience
 through a Freelance Graphics screenshow, cutting down on travel time and
 expense.

 * TeamMail - TeamMail goes beyond mail-enabling to give users several
 new options in mailing and routing presentations. Designed to speed the
 process of reviewing and editing presentations, TeamMail lets users send
 an entire presentation, or selected pages, to others or route them to a
 list of people sequentially.

 * Publish to the Internet  Freelance Graphics 96 users can quickly,
 easily and automatically publish their presentations to the World Wide
 Web format.

 * Presentation Page Browser - The Presentation Page Browser makes it
 easy for users to recycle pages from one presentation for use in
 another, saving time and effort, and helping users leverage their own,
 their team's and their entire company's existing work.

 Integration and Programmability
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Freelance Graphics' unmatched programmability, through LotusScript, lets
 developers automate key tasks within Freelance Graphics or other
 applications to improve user productivity and speed best quality results.

 * LotusScript - LotusScript is a cross-platform, BASIC compatible and
 object oriented programming that will be embedded in the native
 application development environment of our next desktop applications.
 LotusScript lets developers automate redundant tasks and integrate data
 from other applications to increase end user productivity. With
 LotusScript, developers can create their own customized LotusScript-
 enhanced SmartMasters.

 * Lotus User Interface - The Lotus User interface provides a common
 look across the SmartSuite applications and with Lotus Notes to make it
 easier and faster for users to leverage their knowledge of one Lotus
 product when learning and using others. .

 * Shared Components - The Lotus shared components provide tools common
 to all Lotus SmartSuite applications and Lotus Notes, to reduce the
 total amount of hard disk space and system resources required by Lotus
 products.  They include:  Lotus Spell, Lotus Chart, Lotus TeamMail,
 Common Install, Lotus SmartIcons and Lotus Status Bar.

 * OS/2 Warp Integration - Freelance Graphics offers support for HPFS long
 file names; drag and drop to launch; OS/2 templates; and more.
