In case you don't know, Corel has the 'pre-beta' (whatever happened to
'alpha'?) version of their Office for Java available for download as of
today at
http://206.116.221.27/

Typically, the configuration is MS-oriented but with these simple
modifications I've gotten it to run on a Warp machine.
Warning: I did this on pretty-much-default Warp installation, with
Netscape/2 GA. Your kilometrage may vary, very....

First, download the .zipped version (why is the default version a Win95
self-extracting executable??)

Unzip the zipfile into the same root directory as your \javaos2 dir
resides, (preferably both on c:). This will create a subdirectory tree
\coj.
(You might want to try put it somewhere else, but this is a 'pre-beta' and
seems to have a number of absolute references, rather than relative ones. )

Rename the .bat files to .cmd files. (Gee, what OS uses .bat files
anymore??)

Edit the .cmd files to change certain values:
   change '\java\bin\' to '\javaos2\bin'
   change 'appletviewer' to 'applet'
   change 'javaw.exe' to 'javapm'

That should do for now.

So, who's starting the new mailing list for this?

Cheers,
Sandy
