This problem is considered an oldies. I had not found any solution for it as yet. I hope someone can enlighten me with his/her solution. I am using a SCSI-based system in MSDOS, Win95 and Linux environment, and most of my hardware are SCSI. Currently I am trying to recycle my old IDE drives in my hardware cache (using them as backup media with removable racks) How can I connect the IDE drives in Primary port without making them as Boot Drive? (secondary port possible?) In most case, if SCSI and IDE drives co-exist, IDE will take over as Boot Drive. but I want the other way around this problem, how can i achieve it? Do you know how-to? TIA Regards, Kevin Lai
