Hello,

I have a room with your own semi-private(see below) bath for rent in Palo
Alto.

Here is a brief description of it:

	o Small 1100 sq feet Condo with 3 bedroom 2 bath
	  (3rd and smallest bedroom is my study)
	o Small 27-year old complex located on West Bayshore Road near
	  Oregon Expressway in Palo Alto
	o New carpet and completely remodelled bathroom and partially
	  remodelled kitchen with new dishwasher
	o Inside washer-and-dryer unit
	o Complex parking for one car
	o Small swimming pool
	o All Electric Kitchen
	o Room is lightly furnished
	o 2 story building with unit on the lower floor above carport
	o Rent will be $485 plus 1/2 utilities and house cleaning service
	o $500 deposit

Some of the positives of the place are:
	o new bath and a remodelled kitchen
	o You have your own bath (but also for occasional guest use)
	o Less than 5 minutes by car and 15 minute bike ride to Silicon Graphics
	o 2 minutes drive to Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course and 5 minutes
	  to Shoreline Park
	o Easy access to 101
	o Greer Park(has soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball fields)
	  one block away
	o the master and the this bedroom are on opposite side of the unit
	  giving more privacy (although the study room is next to that bedroom)
	o Free SF Chronicle and SJ Mercury Sunday newspaper(wow!)

Some of the negatives are:
	o Complex on frontage road right next to hwy 101 on the west side
	o Room is next to street
	o Complex has lots of kids (neighbors' rooms adjacent and
	  above has kids)
	o No covered parking in the complex's common lot
	o Storage room is limited
	o No pets allowed and no smoking
	o Not centrally located, i.e., no shops or grocery store within walking
	  distance (Midtown is about 1 mile from condo)

Some of my preferences in a roommate are:
	o Someone clean and somewhat neat
	o Pays rent on time
	o Respects other's privacy
	o No smoking, no drugs
	o Not too loud
	o Prefers someone who does not have guests over every night and 
	  overnight guest staying more than a couple of nights a week at most
	o Prefer roommate to have private TV in bedroom room if they like 
	  to watch a lot of TV (no cable available in room however)
	o Prefer someone friendly, sociable, and somewhat outgoing

A little about my self:
	o I am a friendly and sociable person and outside my preferences
	  listed above I am pretty easy-going
	o respects honesty and others privacy and is fair about sharing
	o I have lived with male and female roommates and have no preference
	o Working professional with no pets and a non-smoker
	o Active and generally outgoing individual with sporting interests
	  and tries to be out of the house on nice days
	o Prefers being clean and neat although sometimes my paperwork
	  gets everywhere and also I also rarely clean the balcony
	o Average noise person (generally quiet unless I am on the phone
	  or if friends are over)
	o Usually have friends over one night a week and girlfriend on
 	  weekends
	o Throws one or two large parties a year
	o Cooks once or twice a week
	o Watches sports on TV once or twice a week and watches a few of
	  the sitcoms
	o Usually late riser and late sleeper
